10/30/14 Update

Hi Guys,

Sorry that I have not been keeping up like I should. People who know me, know that I am one of the biggest Giants fans on the face of the planet. So, as you can imagine, I have been REALLY busy. I am happy to report that all of the cheering and the tension were worth it.

I am also glad to write that all is going well with me and my family. I have pretty much leveled out on my progression since the surgery. There is always a possibility that with some more hard work I can grow stronger and better. I am sure you are also wondering how my mom is doing. The answer, she is doing great. Her numbers have gone down and she does not have any more chemo treatments for the time being. This is a blessing. We are just taking life day by day and not trying to remind ourselves that life is precious. Happy Halloween to all!

Hi Everyone,

Things have been going good. My mom just had a blood test done and numbers dropped from 275 to 138. We are excited but it stills needs to go down a lot. 

I had my birthday this past Thursday. It was fun I was a scout camp. I celebrated with my family on Saturday. I got a lot of great gifts. 

I have nothing to complain about of late. Thank you for all of the prayers and suppor along with all the birthday wishes.

June 6, 2014 Update

Hey guys,
Just a small update. My mom has her next treatment this next Tuesday. She is trying to enjoy the time she feels good.

As far as I go I am doing well. Just the other day my mom and dad helped me to hang a picture of Matt Cain from his perfect game. We also hung a bat rack, that my dad made me, above my bed. It looks awesome with all the bats I have collected over the years.

May 30, 2014 Update

Hi Everyone,
I spent the night at my cousin's house last night. It was fun.

As far as my surgery progression has gone, not much has change. I am still going to therapy twice a month. And I am still working to build up strength in my legs. Other than that, it is all going well in the surgery recovery category.

It has been 10 days since my mom had her last Chemo treatment. The first couple of days were hard but she has started to regain some of her energy. We have already shaved her hair to prepare for the affects of the Chemo treatment.  Her next Chemo is coming up within a week or so. The plan is to give her a treatment every three weeks for four times and then see how that goes. She is a trooper.

May 3, 2014 Update

Hi my Friends,
I am sorry that I haven't posted in a while, but in my defense I have been busy with school and things. since i have posted last we have gotten news that my mom's cancer has come back. The plan is that she will have chemo again. She will have it when she gets home from visiting her family.

As far as my health goes, I am doing well. We went to visit the doctor a couple of months ago. I asked if I could get hinged braces. He said that i couldn't get hinged braces, but he would have someone in the brace designers would trim down my braces so that I could bend my ankles more. It felt weird at first, but then I got used to it. He also said that I could not wear my braces to bed anymore. That was okay with me.

My therapist said that I am getting stronger. I am also becoming more mobile. I can basketball now. I am also starting to practice driving. I have not got my license yet because I was kind of preoccupied with my surgery. I plan to get my license at the end of this year. We will see. I promise to update you more than I have been.

I am doing great.we are leaving Hawaii tomorrow. It was great to take a vacation from our problems. I want to thank you guys for your support, love, and support.
